Equine Dreams is the proud recipient of a $5000 grant from the HORIZONS UNLIMITED FOUNDATION., which will go towards building an agricultural storage facility.
We are very appreciative of the HORIZONS UNLIMITED FOUNDATION for its generosity in providing this grant. Located in DeKalb County, the Foundation provides support to cultural, educational and human service programs established and run by small, locally based organizations. Their mission is to expand the horizons for children and their families, and increase their ability to fully realize their physical, emotional, mental and spiritual gifts.

Equine Dreams recently received a $3300 grant award from the DEKALB COUNTY COMMUNITY FOUNDATION to go towards a handicapped accessible agricultural storage facility. We are so grateful to the DeKalb County Community Foundation for supporting our ongoing efforts to provide this valuable service to our community.
The funds will go towards building an agricultural storage structure which will serve multiple purposes. It will allow for a dry place to store hay/feed which is crucial for our program. The structure will also be handicapped accessible, so that participants will be able to help feed/care for the horses which will not only help them to feel more independent, but also teach them to care for the animals.
