Equine Dreams is 100% Volunteer Run!
We could not run without our dedicated group of volunteers. If you would like to join our Equine Dreams family, here's how:
1. Please go to www.narha.org and register to take the online volunteer course. This is a free online course that will give you a wonderful introduction to Therapeutic Horseback Riding and what you can expect when you volunteer. To access this course, select "NARHA store" from the home page. Then choose "NARHA online courses", and scroll down to select "Online volunteer course". Contact the woman listed there and tell her you are affiliated with Equine Dreams. She will set you up with taking the course for no charge.
2. Once you have completed the online course, please print your completion certificate and bring with you when you come out.
3. You will then need to print and fill out the volunteer packet below. You will also need to print the volunteer manual (or read so you are familiar with it).
4. When you have completed the above steps, email us at ride@equinedreams.org, and our volunteer coordinator Livvy will contact you and set up a time for an orientation and to begin your training.
5. We also ask that all volunteers complete a fingerprint background check, and Livvy will give you instructions on how to get that done.
